RS06C SQUARE RECESSED MICROWAVE SENSOR SWITCH

1. Introduction

RS06C is Kawasan’s new-generation recessed microwave motion sensor, using a 5.8GHz radar module and a smart IC circuit, providing highly sensitive motion detection over a wide range.

Unlike infrared sensors that only detect body heat, the RS06C microwave sensor can detect movement through obstacles such as wood, glass, and plasterboard, allowing electrical devices to turn ON/OFF fully automatically – conveniently – while saving electricity. The device also integrates an ambient light sensor to distinguish between day and night, making it suitable for many indoor locations and areas with low light levels. The RS06C is an ideal choice for hallways, restrooms, walkways, warehouses, parking areas, or any location that requires sensitive detection and stable operation.

Automatic ON/OFF – Energy Saving

When someone enters the detection area → the light turns ON
When no one is present → the countdown begins and the light automatically turns OFF.

The time delay can be adjusted from 10 seconds to 12 minutes..

Flexible Adjustments

• LUX: Detects day/night conditions and allows selection of the appropriate ambient light level (0.1 LUX → 1000 LUX)
• SENS: Adjusts sensitivity according to the installation area (3m to 15m range)
• TIME: Adjusts how long the light remains ON

Completely Safe for Users

Wave power <0.2mW, safe even for young children, much lower than common household devices such as smartphones or Wi-Fi equipment.

Sensitive to Even Small Movements

Detects movement at speeds of just 0.6–1.5m/s → suitable for both walkways and areas with little movement.
