WHAT IS A WIRELESS BEAM PERIMETER ALARM?
This perimeter alarm uses photo beam technology. A transmitter projects two parallel beams toward a receiver. While the receiver detects both beams, no alarm signal is sent. If an obstruction interrupts both beams, the unit sends an alarm signal via RF 433MHz to a compatible wireless alarm control panel. Users can also connect the beam detector to an alarm control panel through its built-in wired output.
HOW THE ELECTRONIC PERIMETER ALARM WORKS
When someone blocks the beams or passes through the area between the transmitter and receiver, the detector sends a signal to a siren or alarm control panel. This alerts users so they can respond promptly and help protect people and property. Its built-in RF 433MHz transmitter can send the alarm wirelessly to a compatible control panel or a Kawasan AL21 or AL27 wireless siren. This reduces wiring and installation costs and removes the signal cable that an intruder might try to cut to disable the alarm.

The electronic beam barrier includes 2 parts:
- Transmitter: Sends infrared beams in a straight direction toward the receiver. The infrared beams are emitted through the internal lens. Transmission distance to the receiver is 20–40m.
- Receiver: Receives infrared beams from the transmitter. The receiver includes an electronic circuit board, signal indicator light and infrared detection sensors. When someone passes through and blocks the beam path, the receiver sends a signal to the siren or central alarm system. RF433MHz radio communication provides strong anti-interference performance.
