FEATURES OF THE SS702B INFRARED SENSOR SWITCH

SS702B is a surface-mounted ceiling infrared sensor switch that automatically turns lights ON and OFF. It detects the body-heat movement of people or animals with a body temperature of approximately 36–37°C. Its slim, compact design is suitable for installation on concrete ceilings, plaster ceilings, walls, and more.

FUNCTIONS OF THE ADJUSTMENT KNOBS ON THE SS702B:

The SS702B infrared sensor switch has the following adjustment knobs:

• LUX button: Adjust light or dark environment recognition mode to activate infrared sensor mode:
  • If the LUX knob is turned toward the “sun” symbol, the sensor will always be activated and ready to detect body-heat movement within the sensing area to turn the light ON. This is also called day and night sensing.
  • If the LUX knob is turned toward “3 Lux”, the sensor will turn the light ON only when the environment is dark or has low light, equivalent to around 7:00 PM.

Once the device has detected movement and turned the light ON, the light/dark sensing mode will no longer affect body-heat motion detection during that sensing cycle.

• TIME Knob: Adjusts the automatic switch-off time from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. This delay time will restart when a new sensing cycle is detected.

In addition, the SS702B motion sensor switch also has an adjustable delay time. When no one is moving within the detection area, the countdown begins and the light automatically turns OFF. If someone continues moving within the detection area during the set delay time, the switch will remain ON. This helps maintain the necessary lighting while users are present, especially in commercial areas such as showrooms, waiting rooms, garages, parking areas, and more.
