WHAT IS A WIRELESS DOORBELL?

Wireless doorbells have therefore become increasingly popular because they are convenient, require no complicated wiring, feature compact designs, are easy to install and relocate, and are available in a wide variety of models.

OUTSTANDING FEATURES OF THE WIRELESS DOORBELL

• The wireless doorbell operates by transmitting signals wirelessly without the need for signal wiring. The operating range is approximately 20–40m with obstacles and 20–70m in open areas. It uses a 433MHz transmission frequency, helping reduce interference.

• The chime volume can be adjusted according to household requirements. Three volume levels are available: High / Medium / Low. The Kawasan wireless doorbell provides up to 38 preset ringtones for users to select and change as desired.
• The wireless push button is powered by a 12V 23A battery. Its low power consumption helps extend battery life. The chime receiver operates on 110–240VAC, providing convenient and energy-efficient operation.

• High integration capability: 1 push button can be paired with multiple chime receivers, while 1 chime receiver can be paired with up to 4 push buttons.
• The Kawasan DB658 doorbell push button provides IP44 protection against water splashes.
• The chime receiver is equipped with a small LED indicator that lights up when connected to power, helping users locate the device at night and also allowing it to function as a small night light.

APPLICATIONS OF WIRELESS DOORBELLS IN DAILY LIFE

• Used as a doorbell

• Used as an emergency alarm call button
• Used as an assistance call system for elderly users

• Used as a visitor chime or service call system

• Used as an internal call chime in homes, offices, hotels, and similar facilities

BENEFITS OF USING A BATTERY-POWERED WIRELESS DOORBELL

• Flexibility: The chime receiver can be easily relocated and installed in different areas of the house, such as living rooms, stairways, corridors, or different floors. The push button can be mounted on a door, wall, gate, or entrance.
• Improved aesthetics: No signal wiring is required between the doorbell push button and the chime receiver, helping reduce installation work and maintain a cleaner appearance.
• No major renovation required: For homes with granite or stone facades, drilling may be difficult or undesirable because it may damage or crack the surface. A wireless push button is a practical solution because it does not require concealed signal wiring.
• Convenient battery replacement: The wireless push button uses a replaceable battery that typically lasts around 6 months. The chime receiver can be plugged directly into a 220V power outlet.
• Expandable system: In large or multi-story homes, a single chime receiver may not be audible everywhere. KAWASAN wireless doorbell push buttons and chime receivers can be expanded and paired with additional units as needed.

For example:

With a wired doorbell, this arrangement is more difficult because additional wiring is required, and once installed, the devices are fixed in position and are difficult to relocate.

COMMON PROBLEMS WHEN BUYING LOW-QUALITY WIRELESS DOORBELLS

• Short signal transmission range of only approximately 10–15m. When installed in multi-story buildings, pressing the push button may fail to activate the chime on higher floors.
• Low-quality push buttons with poor water resistance may fail after a short period of outdoor use.
• Limited or no expansion capability, requiring users to purchase additional complete doorbell sets for other areas of the house, especially in multi-story homes.
• Low initial purchase price but poor durability of less than 2 years, resulting in higher replacement and repair costs over time.

WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE A KAWASAN WIRELESS DOORBELL?

• Kawasan is an established brand in the wireless doorbell sector. Products are supported by a 2-year warranty and are designed for long-term use. Professional sales consultation and technical support are also available.
• The wireless transmission range has been improved. RF433MHz technology transmits signals from the push button to the chime receiver with good sensitivity and reduced interference.
• The system supports flexible expansion for larger or multi-story homes. One Kawasan chime receiver can be paired with up to 4 push buttons, while one push button can be paired with multiple chime receivers. This helps reduce the need to purchase multiple complete doorbell sets for different areas.
• Separate wireless coding: Each paired system uses its own signal code, helping prevent interference between neighboring doorbells. This reduces the possibility of pressing your push button and accidentally activating a neighbor’s chime, or vice versa.
