• The RS686B microwave sensor lamp holder uses 5.8GHz microwave radar sensor technology. It detects moving human body heat with high sensitivity and can detect through obstacles such as wood, glass, thin walls, and similar materials. Unlike infrared sensors, it is not affected by ambient temperature.
• The sensor lamp holder includes an adjustable Lux (light/dark) setting to detect ambient light levels. It can be adjusted so that the sensor only turns the light on when the surroundings begin to get dark. When there is sufficient light, the microwave sensor does not operate.
• The Time control adjusts the delay time (automatic off time) from 30 seconds–7 minutes. If someone continues moving within the detection area, the light remains on continuously.

FUNCTION OF ADJUSTABLE BUTTONS

• LUX button: Adjust the light or dark environment detection mode to activate the sensor mode to turn on the light.
• TIME button: Adjust auto-off time. The auto-off time can be adjusted from 10 seconds to 5 minutes. This delay time will be started again in the new induction cycle.

• Step 3: Check if the lamp holder has power and is working (pay attention to turn the Time button to the smallest position, the LUX button to the sun - largest position). Move back and forth to see if the sensor turns itself on and off after 10-20 seconds!

COMMON PROBLEMS AFTER INSTALLATION

• The light installed on the sensor turns on continuously, does not turn off: Check to see if the delay time adjustment button has been reduced to the minimum level for testing? After running the test for the minimum time, adjust it to about 30% adjustment range (about 3 minutes), then try again.
• The light still does not turn off after monitoring for 3-5 minutes: Check the location of the back wall of the sensor and if there are people moving around.
• Poor sensitivity, going close to the new location: Check the LUX button to see if it has increased the minimum level to 50%? If the area is always lacking light and you want the sensor to always turn on when someone enters, you should set it to the "sun & moon" position.
• When adjusting to the moon, it's dark but the sensor still doesn't turn on: Adjust the LUX level to increase, turn more toward the sun to avoid other lights shining in, making the environment not completely dark. Touch cannot be turned on.
