WHAT IS THE PC02 POWER FAILURE ALARM?

The PC02 Power Failure Alarm is a warning device designed to alert users when a mains power outage occurs. Its responsive detection circuit quickly identifies a loss of power and activates an audible alarm with a sound level of up to 110 dB.

Although a power outage may not always create an immediate danger, it can still cause significant losses. This is especially important in production workshops, companies, factories, livestock farms, aquaculture systems, and other facilities where electrical interruption may directly affect productivity and operations. OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF THE POWER FAILURE DETECTOR

The alarm device is connected directly to a 110–240V AC power supply. It uses a 9V backup battery to maintain alarm operation during a power outage. The device provides 2 operating modes:

• One-way mode: The alarm is activated only when a power failure occurs.
• Two-way mode: The device alarms for 60 seconds when power is lost and alarms again for 60 seconds when mains power is restored.

When a power failure occurs, the PC02 detects the loss of mains voltage and immediately activates its built-in audible alarm.
